Try this twist on the classic favorite. The sweet limoncello flavors help to balance the tart lime. Also up your game by blending the ice to a fine powder. This recipe makes two, but just half it if serving only one.
Ingredients:
- 2 Shots Tequila
- 2 Shots Limoncello of San Diego
- Fresh Lime Juice from 7-8 limes
Preparation
Cut the limes into quarters, and spread one of the lime wedges around the rim of your glasses. Salt the rim by dipping it on a plate with a 50/50 blend of salt and sugar. Tip: tilt the rim of the glass slightly outward to keep most of the salt on the outside of the rim.
Mix it up
Hand squeeze the juice into a blender. Then add-in all the other ingredients with two handfuls of ice. Blend it until it looks frothy and delicious. Finally, pour your new masterpiece into the pre-salted glasses and enjoy!
