Winters can be harsh, and nothing dampens our moods like overly complicated recipes. Fortunately we invented a simple and superior tasting hot toddy to help us get through this one.
- 1 1/2 shots of Whiskey
- 1 1/2 shots of Limoncello of San Diego
- 1 cup of hot water
- Dash of vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
First, heat the water to a boil. We like to use an electric tea kettle (’cause it’s easy). Measure and pour equal parts whiskey of your choice and Limoncello of San Diego into your favorite cool weather mug. When the water is at a boil, pour it into to mug. Top it off with a dash of vanilla extract and a pinch of cinnamon, and you will be ready to start sipping the cold away.
